Debate #1
Canada is a Polite Bastard
I'm not sure how to get this one started let alone finished, so I will just start somewhere.
In grade six I had a very traumatic experience. To summarize:
- I broke my femur bone in 4 chunks.
- I was forced to stand for a second on a broken leg before crumpling to the ground. I wouldn't have had a chance to get my balance to stand on one leg the way I was sort of thrown up into the air.
- My broken leg was smacked against a metal divider.
- Teachers tried straightening my leg onto a footrest that, according to physicians, would have made sections of the bone dig into the others causing excessive pain.
- I didn't get an ambulance, causing an extended wait time instead of being serviced immediately. My dad was called instead.
Years later, my mother shared that the school was threatening her not to sue while I was in the hospital in traction. Mom tried to make it a morality lesson, be forgiving of other's mistakes and errors the same way you'd want them to treat you.
But that isn't what happened in practice in real life for me. The second there was an opening, even when I shouldn't be at fault, I got sued by the person I lost my '1st' v-card to. I was never forgiven for something that wasn't even my fault.
That lesson has turned sour. Instead of it being a great learning example, it's just solid proof now of how much of a bastard two-faced 'polite' Canadians really are.
From what I've learned in my time in Persona 5. Principals of public education facilities have the power of media. [It'd be time consuming to back-track to that exact spot in the game for a detailed reference]
That's a very relevant point to me, when it comes to me and automotive racing. The same teachers looking down on me, making fun of me in school. “Racing isn't running” are the same groups of people with the power to enable my dream and turn it into reality. A dream I earned, I WON my chance and then in turn was CHEATED out of. These are also the same classification of people, teachers, that caused extreme harm to me due to their negligence.
I used to always beat myself up when I was little kid. I thought I was so dumb; I was so stupid because no one would ever believe me. Now that I'm older, I know better. You're the dumb ones! I was not crying wolf that day!
[It breaks my heart, to be able to know my own soul, and look back at innocent Chris and know how much the outside world has been a fucking bastard to me.]
After a short chat with ChatGPT, and only ChatGPT so far, we've arrived at a theoretical lawsuit number of 2.5 million USD. As of today, December 31st, 2024, that would convert to $3 600 000, three million and six hundred thousand Canadian. I'm going to take the liberty and round it to 4 million Canadian for my end of argument.
I have a theory I call the 3% theory. Most rich billionaires, I imagine are more interested in the stock market than in a savings account the'peasants' get to use. A 3% savings account for most civilians is useless. But what if we apply a big enough number to that? One billion dollars in a 3% savings account equates to 30 million dollars a year. That's a lot of money every single year that you don't have to lift a finger for. You can fund a whole lot of stuff with that amount of interest money coming in every year.
Let's apply that to my theoretical $4 million CAD lawsuit. If we stretch that 3% to a 5% savings account, I've seen commercials for larger percentage savings accounts. If 3% of $1 million is thirty thousand dollars annually. 5% of $1 000 000 would be fifty thousand dollars annually. If I had sued Marchmont Public school and by extension the Government of Canada & Ontario, as it should have happened. Because why should I forgive you when you're all so unforgiving and nasty to me and my aspirations for life. That's $120 000 $200 000 annually. That's more than enough money for me to race shifter go-karts in perpetuity for my ENTIRE life based purely on savings interest alone. If my family had made the correct decision to sue the teachers for their negligence, I'd still be racing now. Every fucking goddamn year of my life.
How much racing would a $4 million CAD lawsuit fund:
- Go-karts: Infinite seasons of go-karting according to 3% theory
- Indy Lite, F2 Open-Wheel Cars: 4 - 8 seasons
- Rally: ??? seasons
- Motorcycles: ??? seasons
- Dirt bikes: Infinite seasons with 3% theory
- Stock Cars: ??? seasons
Instead of spelling it all out, I'll let anyone bothering to read my crappy book fill in the blanks themselves.
How many DLC pyro concerts does this fund?
How many editions of this book could I hire writers and artists to finish my story to the level of quality it deserves?
How much training & education in any field in the world does this cover?
So in a world, where the education system has fucked me and my dreams. If I was to hold you accountable for your actions teachers & government of Canada. If we were to do good business, why was my dream handed to an American that didn't even participate in the series I raced, when if we poke this open, you should already owe me <-- $4 million --> worth of racing without any sponsorship or proper business practices being applied?
Instead, an owner of a race team in the Canadian Racing Hall of Fame, the same person that played a role in Paul Tracy. Chose to favor an American and a full $1 million cost for a season of Indy Lite racing. When Canada as a country should already owe me upwards of 3 million dollars. If Brian Stewart is held accountable for his casual agreement of a ½ price season priced at $500 thousand. When we should also consider the day of the shootout. Chris Trombly won; I dominated all the other drivers that do not have a $2.5 million USD lawsuit over their head. Instead, they all got brought in, then I got cheated out of my victory purse due to 'adults' always changing the rules to suit their own inclinations & interests.
Fuck you I won't do what you tell me. You chose to fuck me Canada, when you had the power to push me in the media and make my dream become real. A dream I won my shot for, and you should owe me x amount of funding to participate in.
